Melrose Park Pediatrics
Where Your Child is Our Priority
We are dedicated to promoting the health and development of children from infancy to young adulthood. We provide comprehensive, high quality pediatric care to children by supporting and empowering families in the efforts to raise healthy, happy children.
The focus of pediatrics is to maintain a child’s health by preventing illness and accidents whenever possible. We strive to achieve this by supporting a healthy lifestyle, which includes giving parenting advice, nutrition recommendations, promoting physical activity, recommending safety measures, and administering childhood immunizations. The most meaningful aspect of our work is building trusting relationships with families and enjoying the growth of their children from birth through the college years.
When your child does become ill, we believe you should be able to see your doctor. In addition to standard weekday hours, we offer same-day visits for sick children and weekday evenings and Saturdays. Of course, during the hours that we are closed, we welcome phone calls if you have an urgent concern. Our convenient in-house lab services provide timely diagnoses. Our staff members speak Spanish, Gujarati, and Hindi.
Our commitment to your child’s health extends beyond our four walls. Through an American Academy of Pediatrics CATCH (Community Access to Child Health) grant, our physicians spearheaded an effort to promote breast feeding practices at Westlake Hospital. We also served as a pilot site for the American Academy of Pediatrics Medical Home Initiative. In addition, we participate in ongoing clinical research through the Pediatric Practice Research Group (PPRG).
